I am not being watched: Nayantara

Posted on: July 10, 2009

I am not being watched: NayantaraNayantara rubbished reports saying that she is regularly accompanied by her parents following her rumoured affair with actor-director Prabhu Deva. She said that she was not under parental surveillance.

I am working in four projects now and has anyone seen my parents accompanying me? I feel that news agencies should follow basic etiquettes and check the facts before writing something like this. I have always been the fodder for tabloids but I never cared too much. But whenever my family is dragged into it, its my duty to clear it, an indignant Nayan fumed.

She says that her parents are her biggest pillars of strength and they completely trust her. In the beginning of her career, her father used to accompany her. But later, she found that the travel and the endless waiting on the sets affected his health. So, she has decided to handle her affairs on her own.

The latest rumour doing the rounds in Kollywood is that Nayan had taken Prabhu Deva to Dubai and introduced him to her brother. Before going on the trip, she had reportedly met Prabhus wife Ramlath also, say the rumours.
